The Excel Hardware Smart Latch is well deserving of its name - 'smart latch' is simple to fit and can be applied in under five minutes. This innovative latch combines function and style and has been specifically designed to enhance the aesthetics of your door latch. It can be used with round rose, square rose, and back plate lever furniture.
Unlike normal latch fittings, this latch requires only a 25mm drill bit which removes the laborious chiseling to your front plate that other latch fittings require.
The passage latch means that the latch can always be retracted by turning either handle.
The latch can be fitted in three easy steps:
1: Using a 25mm drill bit, bore out to 75mm in depth.
2: Using the same bit, drill the hole for the spindle.
3: Then simply insert the latch.
